Ooh, apparently I'm an 'artist' now. It says hobbyist - but I have sold my 'art' for money, and am studying art at GCSE level, however both of the others make me seem far more accomplished then I am!

So I have some things I want to do in the new year. The main thing is to finish more drawings. I doodle so much but I never seem to finish them to a standard that I'm happy with. So I want to 1. Finish sketches, 2. Upload unfinished things and be less picky - generally share my art more, and 3. do more 'fine art' - anatomy, landscapes, paintings, traditional things. I also want to keep on trying to find the right digital colouring style for me - everyone seems so good compared to me! *sobs*.
I also have some specifics that I want to draw, like a Demeter cabin group photo for #HalfBlood-Hill (https://www.deviantart.com/halfblood-hill) because that's the kind of thing Jas would tak

Drawing Dump! + digital art break

So I have uploaded 5 pieces today, blimey! But quite a few were sketches, all of them were traditional. And this is for two reasons: 1 I have less time because of exams and need to work on my art portfolio, and 2 I want to do more traditional. It's quicker and easier, and there's less pressure on me to upload things if I'm not being quite as picky about putting sketches up. But yay! And you know the last journal I did? I said I would do stuff? Yeah no, but I have now!

Hi! I'm fairly bad at interacting too, it was actually a new a new years resolution to try to interact with people more. I was probably introduced by googling fanart of particular book series then being brought here by the links... it sounds a bit odd now. Thanks for the comment, I'd love to be able to talk more

I have friends because I had to sit next to in lessons and if you're not friends then there's the awkward silence :/ But I think I'm improving...? Maybe...? XD
